I have been using media portal for some time now, mainly for watching videos, music and photos. I am considering adding a Dual Tuner card. Can anyone tell me if the Peak DUAL Tuner DIGITAL DVB-T TV PCI Card Digital Freeview is compatible with Media Portal. I am looking at a fairly low priced card. Any help appreciated.

Thanks in anticipation.

Seem to be, have seen a few posts with people saying the card was recognised by TVServer, so when installing make sure you select all the defaults, that includes HD tv, even though at the moment their is no HD freeview, this makes sure you are using the most optimised program for your cards, ie the ability to record 8 or more recordings at the same time over 2 transponders :)

    Regards

Have tried the above TV tuner card. I bought it for £26 installed it, then installed MP - works superbly.

    Excellent value and no hassle.

Installed yesterday - worked, then disappeared and whole reinstall later - works again - suspect user (me) error:oops:

Remote is another question - can anyone advise on how to get remote to work (it works with Peak Software, so not hardware).

    Platform - Base XP SP3, MP 1.1.0 RC1.

    :D
