I finally have perfect integrated Blu-Ray playback, no external player, no daemon tools, working language selection, working subtitle selection, etc. And here are the ingredients:

AnyDVD HD to move the files into the movie collection on the media server.
TsMuxeR to select the main movie, audio tracks and subtitles. I even managed to include an external subtitle as PGS. Save result as Blu-Ray disk.

ATI Radeon HD4350 with the 10.6 drivers (the 10.3 drivers did not do the trick). On the ION client playback of .m2ts has always worked well.

    MP 1.1.0 RC4 with StreamedMP 1.2.0.1410
MPC HC splitter (from stand alone filters svn 1881_x86) and BDhandler
ffdshow DXVA (revision 3326) for video (CPU load on a client 1 stays at around 20%)
Moving Pictures 1.0.6.1116-alpha (must have 1.0.6 to start movie in full screen)

    :cool::cool::cool:

Big thanks to all users and developers who made this possible !

    :D

No, I save again as Blu-Ray disk with TMuxeR. Blu-Ray handler deals with the Blu-Ray disk structure stored on HDD.

I would say that the label "perfect" will be reserved for the day that I can pop a BluRay disc into my drive and let MP play it - without ripping it first. For the time being I have invested in a 3D BD-player from Sony.

PS: I know the reasons for not being able to put it into MP, so this is just fine for me :)

I am getting perfect Bluray playback directly from the disc. I pop the disc in, DVD Passkey removes the CSS, MP automatically plays the disc, I get a popup box asking which track I would like to play, the refresh rate changes to 24 and its starts in full screen.

However, I have not used any subtitles. My setup is HD5670 with 10.6 drivers, SAF 5.0 unlocked, MP 1.1 final. Moving Pictures 1.06, StreamedMP 1.2.1 (see my systems for more detail). I use the Cyberlink decoder for H264 and my CPU usage is less than 5%.

I should indeed have been carefull with the word perfect. Perfect is different for all of us. :) Perfection lies in eye of the beholder ... or was that beauty? We all read about the issues we are having, I just wanted to share success as well

I don't want to use a disc I want to select my movies from the database. My HD client does not even have an optical drive. Then again sub-titles are important to me. I also found that I have issues with refresh rate changer. So fair enough, not perfect but pretty damn close and getting better. :D

Yes, what is perfect! All I am interested in is watching the main movie and not the extras or menu. I like the idea of going straight to the movie, so perfect for me. I know many others would be frustrated that they cannot view the menu or extras.

    Procedure:

    1. Download Bluray Handler 0.93 and install with MP 1.1.0 final
    2. Install the latest *unlocked* SAF 5.0 codec pack
    3. Download DVDfab Passkey from DVDFab. The beta version is currently free. The latest version will end on 11 September 2010.
    4. Setup the DVD/bluray disc to start automatically when inserted into the drive
    5. Select the Cyberlink Video codec for H264 (FFDshow DXVA works ok too, but with higher CPU usage) and FFDShow for audio
    6. Enable refresh rate changer in MP. Just make sure that you have enabled the correct resolutions and refresh rates in CCC or Nvidia control panel. I just changed my 9600GT to a HD5670, because of the lack of VC-1 support in the Nvidia card. However, non-VC-1 discs played fine. I have one Bluray that does not change the refresh rate, which is a 1080i MPEG2 (U2 360 concert).
    7. Ensure mediainfo box is ticked in MP (under DVD menu in configuration by memory)

Thanks it. The Bluray handler and SAF 5.0 threads were a useful resource.

I have Moving Pictures installed, but I don't use go into the plugin to launch the bluray. If I need to access the disc directly I usually go through My Videos. Either option works fine for me.
