Hey guys,
I've tinkered with mediaportal previously but the setup got put on hold after the missus got fed up with everything being setup in it's temporary places (the living room) so i hadn't finished (although this kind of project is never finished, there's always something).
This weekend i've been routing cables and finally got to the point i can begin to tinker again, after a lot of sweat, blood and tears
i've pretty much got everything working.
My problem is when watching tv from my Sky STB connected via composite to a Hauppauge PVR USB2. Technically its working and while i can live with the issue i thought it was worth making a quick post in case others are familiar with the issue and its relatively straight forward to fix.
The issue is basically the picture appears shifted to the left slightly leaving a black bar down the right hand side. This only effects the channels on the Hauppauge as i also have a dvb tuner which works perfectly. It also happens on multiple clients so isn't client specific and the bar is a slightly different shade to the outer screen so i can see it's part of the actual feed from the Hauppauge.
A picture will hopefully explain it better than i am, this highlights the issue quite well and also looks like it may be shifted up a little as well but this is minor compared to the bar on the right.
