Every time when I record tv the picture is shifted to the right. I get a big black area on the left en I'm missing video material on the right.

I've tried Nvidia Purevideo and the MVP codec in the latest release of MP (0.2.0.0).

I've also tried other software to check out if it's my tv card, but there the recording is just fine.

Is there something I'm not seeing in MP setup?

Apart from filling out the support template can you also be a bit more descriptive. Is the picture shifted to the right when played back (rendered wrong) or is it shifted to the right in the actual recorded file?

I'm sorry I though when I said record tv it was clear enough.

Only when I record tv I get a shifted picture. When I watch tv I have no problem.
So only when I open the recorded file I see a shifted picture. When I push record program in MP I don't see anything strange (no shifting whatsoever).

    Futher information:
    using MP 0.2.0.0
using basic MyTv plugin (never downloaded something extra for this plugin)
TV Card Hauppauge PVR 150 with lastest drivers (version 2.0.43.24103)

When I play it on wmp (or any other player) thats when I notice it.

When it records I don't see anything out of the ordinary happening in MP.

    Example:
Nice program comes on, push record button. My Tv is now recording.......
Watching tv program while recording, no problem in full screen or anything.
Following day I want to watch the program again but the find out that the presentor on the right is missing his left arm and seems to be pointing at something I don't see.

I was trying to get a screenshot, but wmp didn't cooperate.

When I tried to play the recording in MP there is no shifting. Seems that WMP is configured incorrect ( dont use it anyway ).

For the moment the problem is solved (never existed maybe a better way to discribe it).

Id probably guess in that case WMP is using a bad codec. MP will always use the mpeg2 codec you specify whereas WMP uses merits.
