Pinnacle 200e in UK- No channels Autodetected in London (1 Viewer)

SETUP
-Windows XP Pro sp2 Hotfixed to date
-Pinnacle 200e DVB-t card
-Pinnacle card drivers only from latest software version 3.4
-External Antenna
-Latest Mediaportal build ver RC2
-After no success applied CVS file: mediaportal-cvs-02-10-2006--01-05
-Local Transmitter: London -Crystal Palace

Hello,

I am trying to get Pinnacle 200e running with Media Portal because i can't accept installing the BLOATWARE that ships with the card - Pinnacle Media Center.

I am in the UK & using the external antenna with the 200e.
I know the signal is good as i use same antenna cabel with freeview box in other room. Also GBpvr scans channels fine -but has other issues.

The card is selected in the TV Capture tab of the Media Portal setup.
When i try to setup the channels by running autodetect for All United Kindom - Nothing is detected. Radio or TV. I have tried specifying Europe & this has not helped either.

Please provide some guidance on how i can get this card working as i get the feeling that others have got it working with Mediaportal.

Do i need to add special entries somewhere for UK trasmitters ?
Or Do i need to edit some mediaportal config file to get the card to work ?
Something else ?

You help would be much apprecaited as i'm sitting with a new card for 2 days & still not able to view anytihng.. its driving me nuts..

Nope, you shouldn't need to do any of those things....

To help us find out why its not working, please post your completed Support Template and the MediaPortal.log file - start MediaPortal Configuration, run Autotune and then exit. Post the resulting MediaPortal.log file

Are you running setup/TV/capturecard/edit and try autotuning from there.
From initial install it did not work for me neither if that is your problem
