Pinnacle 7010 (1 Viewer)

TV Server fails to recognise my Pinnacle 7010 (2xsat, 2xUHF DVB). Googling around there are many others with the same problem but no sign (AFAIK) of a solution. The card works fine with both Media Center TV Pack and DVBViewer which are both (previously) installed. Could this be the problem? There are others who have this card working in MediaPortal!

You mean I have to de-install Media Center before I can run MediaPortal?

If you have The Vista TV pack installed, it changes files that TVServer needs

So to use MP\TVServer you cannot have it installed, if it came with your copy of Vista, then you are stuffed atm, because my understanding is, there is no way of removing TV pack once installed.

So unless you have a copy of Vista without the TV pack, then there is nothing that can be done.

OK - created a new partition and installed another clean copy of Vista SP1 (no TV Pack) and installed Pinnacle driver - added MediaPortal etc but TVServer still doesn't recognise the card.
Any more ideas?

OK - did a complete re-install of everything and this time it works! No idea what I did different but hey - who's counting! Wish me luck!

I use this card with feeds for the 2 DVB-T and both DVB-S parts. I don't use the analogue.

Bear in mind that as this card has Analogue tuners it can be affected by the bug in 1.0.1.0 where some cards aren't showing in TV-Server.
