I had purchased this usb tv tuner a few years ago and I wanted to get it hooked up on my laptop, unfortunately my filing skills are not the best, anyway I have lost the CD that came with it. And now it is nothing but a piece of junk because unless I can find a serial number it will not work. I tried contacting hauppauge to find out how to get the serial number and unless I have proof i purchased it, like a receipt they will not help me. My filing skills if they were good to begin with I wouldn't have this problem.

Is there any way I can get a serial number for it. can anyone help me?
