    My Movie file structure

    E:\Movies\Bolt (2008)\Bolt.2008.2008.DVDSCR.avi

Some movies don't parse well. I tried adding a year + making sure the folder name matched the IMDB name, but some movies still arn't autoparsed. I would like to place a .txt file in each directory to make sure the files are always parsed whenever i reinstall moving pictures.

If I placed a info.txt as follows, would this make sure everything was parsed.
It would be great if moving pictures had an option to auto create a .txt file into each movie directory with the correct movie details based on the database. This way if you move the folders or reinstall moving pictures you can easily parse the movie correctly without user input. Also if you copy the movie onto another computer with mediaportal/moving pictures you don't have to have any user input for parsing.

    info.txt said:

Would the above txt file be sufficent to ensure correct parsing?

you would have to check the settings for the NFO parser (and if it's enabled): file extension is by default nfo, txt, but you may have cahnged it
the link in the info.txt file would be enough for moving pictures to correctly match the movie.
Your filename has a double entry for the year though.
    my folder structure is:
M:\movies\botl\bolt.avi and is accompanied by an nfo file with the correct (like yours) imdb link

I just reinstalled moving pictures latest version so i can confirm that the default settings are

    1. NFO parser = enabled
    2. File type = .txt or .nfo
    3. Auto approve anything identified using the nfo parser
