Well, I've just received my new blue ray player in the mail. Installed it like nothing. Ran to red box and picked a blue ray disk. Ran back, slapped it in, pulled up mediaportal and BOOOOOOOOooooo it won't play!! It's half way through 2011 and I can't even find any good solutions on the mediaportal site. Is there any way to use this amazing mediaportal product to play this semi new tech? Please help! Thanks!!

Did your drive come with playback software? You should be able to use that and one of the plugins to play it. I use total media Theatre 3 and the arcsoft plugin and blu-ray plays fine (even automatice refresh rate changes!!!! (with anyDVD HD))
