If I stop playing a DVD iso file from my HD, then exit and restart MP, start the same ISO file, MP completely stop working. ANd if I then try to force a shutdown through taskkill command or simialr, nothing happens. The MP gets all the focus and no other programs would show it self on the foreground. Only the "task manager" would appear in front of the frozen MP session. Not even a warm reboot is possible. The only solution is to do a cold reboot and when back to desktop, do a unmount in Daemon tools and then start the same dvd. If I dont exit MP, the same DVD stops and starts without a problem. This happens to all my iso DVD's, so I suspect it has something to do with the mounting of iso/img files in MP.

I'm running Visa Ultimate, 02.03 finale and Daemont tools 4.10

Personally I'm using Daemon 3.47, MP 0.2.3.0-RC3, WinXP/Home-SP2 but it works just fine. I use disk manager to assign the daemon drive letter to the same I assign inside MP's configuration.

    Krl69.

I have no good news for you, but I can confirm that I am experiencing the same problems. I have the exact setup as you 2.03 and daemon tools 4.10.

I have notice some .iso will not play in full screen with MP, but will play just fine when MP in not in full screen mode. Also after a crash, if I reboot, (image already mounted), restart MP and choose play DVD, it plays just fine.

With that said, it only seems to be handful of .iso files that have problems, unforunately they are the ones I want to watch.

All my .iso file are created the same way, with the same program.

I have done numberous searches in MP and found a couple threads pertaining to this and no solution has fixed my problem. I do believe that this is MP and vid card driver problem.

    What I have done:

    Upgrade/downgrade my vid card driver
    upgrade/downgrade MP versions
Attempted my video players to use different players for viewing
    adjusted screen calibration
    tried various video codecs

    all with the same result...

What did fix the problem. I downgraded vista ultimate to XP pro, ran the same problem .isos in full screen and it worked fine.

reinstalled vista ultimate and again they didn't work.

If you find anything please let me know.

    Thanks

    Cody

I haven't done any testing other than reinstalled Daemon tools, new nvidia driver(169.09) and such. But still the same problem.
