Playing a video file takes 30secs or more to start (1 Viewer)

I don't have this problem on my PC but on MY mediacenter opening a video file within mediaportal takes over 30 secs sometimes.... doesn't matter if it's xvid or mkv

please please help this is driving me insane

oh and "funny" thing when I've opend a file and it finally start playing opening another file for playback and that one starts instantly

Are your files on a network-share? I'm asking because it sounds like one of the known problems of accessing files on the network...

Then sorry, I cant help.. You will have to submit a proper support request...with all your system info and logs.....
