I recently tried playing a 1080p film rip in MediaPortal but got an error message saying that the content couldn't be played. The error dialogue said the video was h.264 (which i can normally play, so i don't suspect this is the problem) and the audio was AC3 ES.
What Codec would i need to play the AC3 ES Audio?
I'm intending to play the audio through my PCs normal multichannel sound card (ie not pass audio though SPDIF to an amp/decoder.
I've got AC3 Filter installed as well as CyberLink PowerDVD 10. I can play Blu-Rays throught PowerDVD so would expect PowerDVD to be able to decode it for MediaPortal
