Recently updated to 1.0.2 from a stable 1.0.0. Looked great - stable and sharp. However I have noticed a couple of prblems - the oddes is problems with HD trailers.....

If I play an HD video immediatoly after loading everything is fine (more or less). If I then try and play an flv video which failes (another new problem) and then play the HD again I get a blank screen. MP still responds to the remote BUT leaves the screen perfectly blank.
I think its somwthing to do with the haali splitter & ffdshow - they appear to get left behind when a video is stopped (as I type this I have 3 sets of FFDshow audio & haali icons on the task bar ---- OK they have gone now)

Log attacehd - hoep they help as any help is much appreciated.

cheers

Kevin

I reverted to an earlier image of the system (I image my system regularly) and then rolled forward carefully. Got back, (I think) to where the system was and it all works. So basically fixed but I dont know what went wrong.

Thanks @CyberSimian! I delved deeper into this issue and especially the "Silent Stream Bug" you mentioned. I downloaded different pieces of software that claimed to do like you said: keeping the DA-convertors "alive" by sending a non-audible signal periodically. (this is a crosspost from the madVR thread, as the same issue is discussed there) It seems like the problem is specific to NVIDIA and has two causes: 1. Some time ago (can't remember the exact version, but can probably be found when searching this thread: AMD, Intel and Nvidia driver issues and last recommended version - Doom9's...

Hi catavolt, selling this HTPC does not mean that I will no longer be available to the community as a plugin developer. If there are severe problems with the plugins at the moment, I can try to analyze causes and find possible solutions.
