Playing home videos in MP with My Videos? (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I'm using 1.0.2 and trying to setup to play my home videos taken with camera in .avi and hi-def .mov format. I add the Video Folder I want in the My Videos configuration but I get nothing in Media Portal?! It seems it wants to scan my home videos via IMDB but I get a bunch of IMDB Movie Conflicts for each of them. I just want to play them, obviously there isn't any info to be had in IMDB!

I have my DVD movies setup using the Movie Showtimes plugin and that works great. So I wanted to use the My Videos to display my home videos. Seems odd, and maybe I'm missing something basic, but I can't get them to show up.

I have the appropriate extensions added in the Video Extensions Tab. Folder is correct, etc.

Maybe you are in one of the database views inside MediaPortal?
Try switching to Shares view and you should see it.

Do as Rekenaar recommended, or you can manually edit your movie-database and add your movies.
