Playing Music with Background Video (1 Viewer)

Hello

Media Portal's great, but I was wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to have a movie file playing in the background without sound (like a wallpaper) while using the music section and playing music playlists. I've found the background video feature in the default Blue skin, but it stops as soon as you play a music file - unless I am missing something.

I've searched long and hard on this, but unless I am missing something silly, I can't find any feature to do it in MP, or indeed any other software.

Any pointers would be much appreciated.

Hi there and welcome

It is not currently (MP1) possible. to play video and music at the same time. MP2 will be able to do it, but that is still long time from release.
All you can currently do together with music is photo slideshow.

Any idea whether there is anything that can do this in any other software?

The new 1.2 my Picture plugin will also play videos (for the home video people like me ;-) ). Maybe that would work, since picture slideshows can run parallel to music. You could give that a try (I currently can not, away from home).
