Ok, why is it that MediaPortal doesn't play VCD files? I've been using it for several versions now and it's never been able to play them. The *.dat file found in the Mpegav folder on a vcd can be played in any media player, and renaming the file to *.mpg doesn't seem to make MediaPortal like it any better. I could just covert my 100 vcds to *.avi, but if I can find a way to make MediaPortal play them that would be great. Anyone else have this problem or have a solution?

That link doesn't seem to go anywhere. I searched the forum several different ways before I posted to see if there was any reference to it and I was supprised not to find any reference to VCD at all. Could you post the link again?
