Playlist/Continues play (1 Viewer)

not sure if this was asked before did do a search didnt return anything that was useful

as far as i can tell you can only do continues play whilist using a playlist, which is fair enough, i want my 5 year old nephew to be able to use MP, i have ripped some dvd's for him, in the night garden and thomas the tank engine, but the episode are only 5 mins long for thomas, and setting up a playlist seems the best option such as add 5 episodes to the list, but i want it to be easy for him to find it himself, is there anything that can be done, such as display the playlist on the basic home screen??

any help would be appriceited

You can add TVseries.Playlist.xml to the BasicHome screen...if your using StreamedMP then open the basicHome editor and Add TVseries.Playlist, but you still need to click on the 'My Playlist' button when it opens.

ahh excellent ill play around with it now, and report back

well its shows on basic home no problem, but if i make a playlist and save it, it doesnt show

Did you click on My Playlists and select a playlist? It doesnt automatically show a playlist, you need to select one first...I guess we could bring up the menu if you enter playlist view with no items.

Currently it brings focus to the My Playlist button, so all you need to do is click OK or <ENTER>. Unfortunately I cant get the Hidden menu to show properly when first entering Playlist if using StreamedMP, possibly due to menu being on Right Hand Side.

yeah when i click on my playlists it doesnt really do anything i've got 2 playlists saved as far as i know

so you saying when you select a playlist to load, nothing happens ? or there is no playlists to choose from ?

It should only do nothing if it cant find the playlists...check your personal folder\my playlists if they have been saved

there are no playlists to choose from, clicking my playlist doesnt show anything at all

Attach logs after saving a playlist, possibly something went wrong. I have no problem here. Hopefully I put some logging in to track problems
