It's great having the ability to say 'thanks' to a topic creator but it would be great if for example:
Someone creates a thread with a question and then someone responds with a fix. The original poster can then click 'thanks' for their answer and help.

There would be many more 'thanks' floating about then and also a bit more motivation for people to answer questions. Just a thought and only my suggestion.

I have always thought this a bit strange, as most creator's are asking for help.

The original poster can then click 'thanks' for their answer and help.

Not a bad idea, better to be able to thank someone who solved the problem.

need to add some changes (smaller text/layout and modified icons) before so plz dont expect it to be ready today. Be prepared that I will remove it when it comes to massive thanks-spamming, see it as a testrun

Okay, this is highly embarrassing, but ever since this 'thanks' facility was implemented I've attempted to use it from time to time - but it seems to be beyond me!

I've searched for a button, I've right-clicked, left-clicked, hovered, slept on it, searched my profile - and then given up until the next time someone published a brilliant post and I wanted to thank them.

If anyone could kindly point me in the right direction, I'll thank them.
