    :confused: Can someone delete this post or tell me how to delete it. I searched every button I can see but no delete option.

    This is a new build of XP. I installed IIS, NET framework 3.5, SQL2005 Server Developers , MS VS 2008, for program and web development prior to installing MediaPortal. I have not used any of those at this time.
    The dvbfix has been applied.

    Someone can delete this post - see the new post entered later with attachements etc.

    First step per instructions is to run TV-Server Configuration. I did so and got the first screen as expected - entered password 'MediaPortal'
    Got the following message
    Connection failed!
    A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occured during the login process. (provider: Shared Memory Provider, error: 0 - no process is on the other iend of the pipe.)
