Timeshifting is when the live TV program is recorded to a "buffer file" on disk and then viewed from the buffer file at the same time, thus allowing you to pause, or rewind the "live" TV prgram. The 30 minutes refers to the maximum buffer size - meaning that after using timeshift for 30 minutes or more, you could rewind to a maximum of 30 minutes back into the current program. If you are likely to want to rewind further back into the current program, then you can make this buffer size larger, depending upon available disk space (~ 3GB per 60 minutes). In configuring MP I came across Timeshifting (default 30 minutes). Would you explain what this feature is for please.
