Please help probelm with codecs (1 Viewer)

Hi there i have install mediaportal a week ago but and it worked very good and i also managed to install all the coded using the installation guide , i formatted my pc reinstall windows xp and know every time i try to install the default player doesn't play any video and the missing codex screen pops up , i try to install several versions of codex but nothing , its like the default player cannot locate the codex

please help its been 2 days and i have tryed everything

yes i tryed the pdf quide and installed everything from start i can choose the codecs from the video confiquration but when it comes to play the movies the error pops up that the divx codec and mp3 codec are not there

what movie are you trying to play? what is the filename?
will the movie play in MPC-HC ?

System specs? (GFX Card, Driver, MePo Version, OS Version, Renderer????.......)

there is a lot of discussion on here like "MP 1.0.2 cannot play video file....". Mostly it is not a codec problem.
