Have you tried to remove the fan from the Scythe Ninja mini itself and use only the 2 case fans ?I am cooling my E4600 with a similar Scythe Ninja mini (passive), and I found no difference in temperatures (or almost) while the noise went down a notch removing that fan. I am only using 2x8 cm fans on the back of my case, plus the PSU fan of course, that may make the difference.Give it a try...Lorenzo</blockquote>
