Please help to watch Internet TV (wmv) (1 Viewer)

Is it possible to use relicTv plugin for playing back web stream in wmv format?
I have few sites I would like to watch and not having much experience in webstream plugins integrated into MP I have trouble in choosing and/or configuring the service.
I added a new channel in the relictv configuration, specified the url address of the stream and when I try to play it from within MP, nothing happens. It only seems like the screen gets refreshed and that's it.
The same behaviour when I try to play from the included channels out of the BestRussian Tv site. Not that I expect to see anything there, I don't have an account with them and no user name or password entered.
Can someone please help me with the right plugin selection and configuration?

Try your links in WMP first.
If you can, give me some of them.

If you want to test BestRussian Tv using the plugin without an account, go: Internet TV > Online Video > Das Erste (or ZDF, RTL, 3Sat recorded shows).

I already tried the link with windows media player and it worked fine. The whole problem was caused by the PC not being restarted after plugin installation.
After PC restart everything worked fine even free channels from best russian tv.

I wish someone would make a fake-TVCard out of RelictInternetTV plugin to watch net-streams together with "regular" channels in TVServer.
