Have you tried just using the MP internal player and configuring MP correctly? DVD Discs/Images Codecs - MediaPortal Wiki What are the symptoms when you try to play a disc (or does it just not show the film name in the list of films - if so, make sure the DVD options are set correctly here: http://moving-pictures.tv/wiki/Configuration_Menu_GUI_Settings)? Does basic DVD playback work using the DVD Play option in MP Homescreen? Can you post your logs along with the above answers to allow people to diagnose your problem. - I am not sure I agree with you. When the setup guides are followed things tend to work very well for me. When I have encountered glitches the MP community has always helped me if I post my logs with a good technical description.
