I tried two cards with MP
Hauppauge hvr-1300....little snatchy, for sport really annoying
WinFast TV2000 XP Expert....in MP terrible snatchy, but original SW has absolutely fluent picture

Please, can you recommend me the best hybrid, analogue, satellite, cable card? I really want to have perfect picture and mainly!! it has to have perfect fluent movements under MP. Please, write your the best experiences.

thx

my motherboard: ASUS A8N-VM CSM

HVR-1300 / NOVA-T.... Both running PERFECTLY here. Sounds like you did not choose the best codecs or sth else is wrong with your configuration.

I did everything I possibly could. It works good now, both in timeshift and without. But

right now I have not yet configured the EPG ( I heard that could cause problems?).

The things I know that I did was:

-Totally disable Cool 'n quiet (both BIOS and Power Management)

-Re-download the dlatest driver CD.

-Totally uninstall with Hauppauge tool and remove card from mobo.

-Registry clean

-Installing everything again. This time including the radio-FM part. Dunno if this caused

any problems before.

Something of the above fixed my stutteringproblem.

+ afterwards 2x restar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Hauppauge Win Nova-T PCI cards are VERY fussy where it comes to signal strength. Any errors at all and they'll skip.

Agree Hauppauge HVR-1300 no good picture

I have Hauppauge HVR-1300 as well, I realy do agree that the picure from that card, atleast the analogue, is not good. Sounds very often gets out of sunc, picture is blurry and scroll texts are just impossible to read.

thanks :)
