Please specify a valid game executable path (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone!

I am trying to add my first PC-Game to myEmulators.
However after I chose the executable and entered a name for the entry and click "add", I get this error message:
"Please enter a valid game executable path".

I cannot add any PC-Games to the list.

Can anyone help?

I tried to add Mortal Kombat 4 (PC) to the list of PC games. The path to the executable is "D:\Games\mk4full\MK4\MK-4.EXE". I entered a game title as well. However when I click "add", MyEmulators tells me: "Form not entered correctly: Please specify a valid game executable path"

Can anyone help?

It *might* be the - character in the filename. Try renaming it and see if anything changes.

I found it.

It looks like the executable filename's extension-part has to be lowercase.
After I changed the filename from MK4.EXE to MK4.exe, I could add the game.
I have reproduced this with many other applications as well.

Nevertheless, could someone else please cross-check this so we could file a bug report?
