I have been getting the "no signal detected" when im watching tv with my Plextor TV402U. Usually happens about every 10 min. or so. I have to exit MP for it to work again. The light is on, as if it is still recording, but i just get a blank screen and the signal error. So far, ive had no problems with the PVR 150 MCE. They're both running off of a cable with a splitter, so they're getting the same cable signal. Also, i have SageTV too, and ive never had any problems watching TV on the Plextor from within SageTV. It seems like there is some sort of issue with MP.

Also, i've tried to use FFDSHOW for the video and audio codecs and have the same issue.

Plextor Signal Error Fixed !!!



I feel kinda stupid, but hey, i did figure out the problem. I had a trial version of WinDVR 3 installed. When i used WinDVR to watch TV, after about 6 min. or so i got a license message then the program stopped the video and closed. After I bought WinDVR 3 and registered it, no more problems. Sorry guys, but maybe this'll help someone.
