plug-in with visual basic (1 Viewer)

hi, is it possible to use visual basic from ms visual studio 2005? would be much faster to develop prototypes.....
Or is it possible to download anywhere a zip which contains all the libs needed for plug-in development? It would be a huge overload if it is needed to download the complete mp source via cvs....thanks!!!

Why would it be much faster to develop prototypes? Oh and I don't see why you can't use VB if you wish!
