Searched the forum, but did not find a suitable solution, so thought to start developing my own one.
I am not using Itunes, so I do not want to go through their API. I keep my music on my Ipod, but only parts on my (HT)PC, so the plugin should allow to.
.. sync MP3 and video to Ipod (e.g. podcasts, or recorded internet radio)
.. sync MP3 and videos to HTPC ( in case I have put medias on the ipod on my office computer and want to get it on my HTPC)
.. allow to play music from the ipod and change the rating and/or playcount.**)
.. allow to deleted songs from the ipod*)
*)+**) are extremely important to me, as I record a lot of internet radio and podcast, so my ipod gets full of MP3 and I need a convinient way to check/sort them out. Should be done by sitting in the livingroom and just delete them by a press of a button on the remote.
To do this I need some references or better components to deal with the Itunes.db. I only know that there is an article on wikipedia, but does anybody have more informations on that?
I guess I need to parse the itunes.db and make changes when I delete or add a song.
