scrub that, just had a quick scan of the fanart handler code (http://www.google.com/codesearch/p?hl=en#dHN4Os7w1D8/trunk/FanartHandler/FanartHandlerSetup.cs&q=pluginicons package:http://fanart-handler\.googlecode\.com&sa=N&cd=1&ct=rc) and that is using PNGSo this would suggest either there is an issue in how you have added the images or somewhere else in your code
