lulsam, MPSync plugins will start executing immediately and thereafter depending on the value you set up in the Advanced Settings tab. What you can do to check if plugin is working correctly, delete the mpsync.log, check that in MediaPortal Configuration, MPSync is enabled and launch MediaPortal. After a couple of seconds, you can check that mpsync.log has been created and it contains activity.
