I miss video playback at lower speeds, for example 70 % of standard speed. Now, we can play video in steps of 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x and 32x forward and backward (keys FWD and REW).

It would be useful to set these steps by MP configuration (like skip steps ) and allow slower video playback.

One set for FWD and second set for REW. For example:

FWD: 2, 4, 6, 8, 16, 32 (faster playback)
REW: 0.8, 0,3, -0.3, -1, -2, -4, -8, -16, -32 (First slowdown, next in standard steps back)

or use UP and DOWN key for changing standard speed (instead of imediate skip settings) and define only one set of parameters for speed, for example: -4,-2,-1.5,-1.3,1,1.3,1.5,2,4

... with one checkbox show/hide OSD timeline when playing non-standard speed, another checkbox to turn off the sound during playback,....

Only idea :)

Why would one want to playback a movie in slow motion?
I see no reason for that.

    But there is a solution:
Just turn of DXVA while watching a HD movie on your 1,6 Atom single core :D

    Hi gemx,

look at YouTube - Samba -extremely fast dance (for me) :)

I want to learn to dance at least as Serena :D
And try to learn steps without slowing :)

Your solution is wonderful, now I start to convert videos to HD quality :D
