I'm currently running a TV-Server with a hauppauge PVR250 connected via svhs to a Dreambox 500s. I would like to be able to change channels using Mediaportal client. I know how to get the channel list and use it to change channels through the network using http.
Is it possible to write a plugin that creates a channel list from the dreambox and when I select a channel it sends the http command? If it's not possible to create a "real" channel list, is it possible to popup a new window which lets me choose a channel?
It would be great if it was possible to create a "real" channel list so that one could schedule recordings on different channels and when the time comes the tv-server sends the http command to the dreambox.
I have never written a MediaPortal plugin but I'm a very experienced programmer.
