I have a TV Wonder Elite capture card that has a "break out box" where I can connect video by S-Video or Composite as well as composite audio. Ive connected my VCR to the composite and would like to record it via MediaPortal. I have found some capture programs that allow me to select the specific input to display / capture of the TV tuner, but I cant figure out how to do it in MP.

Thanks!

    This should be very easy....

Create a new channel manually and call it something like VCR, then click on the configure channel, and select the input as S-video or Composite...it is as easy as that. Now in MediaPortal just select he VCR channel, and you will be able to record it like any other channel.

Thanks. Your screenshot is showing the "TVGuide", the mentioned "MiniEPG" appears, if you press "enter" or "OK" during Live-TV. But you're right, the channel arrow and PIP button are not reachable by mouse, something insibile is overlapping them and preventing focus. I'll fix that. Anyway, I'll provide a new installer to you soon...

    MP1 MP2 MP2 DLNA status? DE
What I meant is that we have a MP2 plugin called UPnP Render that can play media from DLNA servers if I remember correctly. I don't know the current state of the plugin though. That's why MP2 probably never will be certified. ;) Yes, that was also the idea, but it is a big job as all TV's, software etc. seems to not do everything...

Just to wrap this up I did eventually get MP2 installed, the above mentioned error was resolved once I uninstalled MP1. I then had firewall issues with MP2, the client could not see the server unless I turned the firewall off on the server, all rules seemed present and correct, so I eventually uninstalled MP2 as I needed a working...
