I got the sources etc. and built the release mode MP. I see there is a PostBuild.bat file to copy the files to the MP directory on the same machine. But my build machine and my MP machine and not the same. Has anyone created some way to easily package up just the required executable files? I tried to run the created 'Setup' but that requires a uninstall first, which I don't really want to do. Thanks in advance.

You need to build setup, then you get.msi file what you use to install mediaportal to your HTPC. Unistall won't remove your settings or databases.

But remember if you get strange errors then you need to do "clean install".

1. Uninstall
2. remove mp folder
3. install new MP

Postbuild is used by compiler during build process. No need to run it by hand.
