Hello.

I'm using the power scheduler plugin to shutdown my htpc. but i want to use my htpc for storing stuff, which i would like to access over windows network (samba). my problem is that, even though i'm watching a movie over samba on my htpc, power scheduler shuts the htpc down. is there are solution to this problem? thought about adding a process on the power scheduler list of processes that prevents the computer from shutting down.

Best regards
zator.

Isn't there a field in the configuration of the powersheduler where you can set programs which can prevent the shutdown of the computer?

But then the problem might be that your PC never shuts down youre PC because the samba server is always running.

Btw. do you use a real samba server or do you mean smb when you say samba?

I am using windows network sharing to share my files.

I tried to look for processes that might be starting whenever a persons is browsing files on the htpc, however none occured.
