Re: PowerScheduler++ 1.2.1.2 - Stable version for MediaPortal 1.2.1 FINAL I'm having real problems getting PowerScheduler++ to work from S3 for EPG scheduled programmes...it just doesn't wake the machine. I'm using PS1.2.1.2 with MP1.2.1 on a Windows 7 64-bit install. All the settings are, as far as I can see, the recommended ones on the Wiki. Although Windows Media Center sleeps and wakes fine for scheduled recordings =from its EPG, MP and PS++ doesn't do the same. Here's a typical example from the tv.log :
2011-11-10 17:10:41.671875 [(27)]: dvb:StopGraph filterstate already stopped, returning. 2011-11-10 17:10:41.679687 [Channel state thread(5)]: Controller: DoSetChannelStates for 77 channels 2011-11-10 17:10:41.685546 [Channel state thread(5)]: ChannelStates.DoSetChannelStates took 6 msec 2011-11-10 17:10:41.764648 [(27)]: ControllerActiveHandler: Got event RecordingEnded - SetAwayMode(False) 2011-11-10 17:10:51.066406 [MPMain(1)]: GetConflictingSchedules: Schedule = Come Dine with Me on 408 10/11/2011 5:30:00 PM - 10/11/2011 6:00:00 PM ID=0 2011-11-10 17:10:51.075195 [MPMain(1)]: GetConflictingSchedules: Cards.Count = 7 2011-11-10 17:10:51.083984 [MPMain(1)]: AssignSchedulesToCard: schedule = Come Dine with Me on 408 10/11/2011 5:30:00 PM - 10/11/2011 6:00:00 PM ID=0 2011-11-10 17:10:51.101562 [TvClient-TvHome: HeartBeat transmitter thread(11)]: RemoteControl - Connected 2011-11-10 17:10:51.131835 [MPMain(1)]: AssignSchedulesToCard: free on card 0, ID = 2 2011-11-10 17:10:51.167968 [MPMain(1)]: RemoteControl - Connected 2011-11-10 17:10:52.110351 [TvClient-TvHome: HeartBeat transmitter thread(11)]: RemoteControl - Connected 2011-11-10 17:10:53.118164 [TvClient-TvHome: HeartBeat transmitter thread(11)]: RemoteControl - Connected 2011-11-10 17:10:53.374023 [MPMain(1)]: RemoteControl - Connected 2011-11-10 17:10:53.386718 [MPMain(1)]: RemoteControl - Connected 2011-11-10 17:10:55.883789 [PowerEventThread(9)]: OnPowerEvent: PowerStatus: Suspend 2011-11-10 17:10:55.889648 [PowerEventThread(9)]: OnPowerEventHandler: PowerStatus: Suspend 2011-11-10 17:10:55.895507 [PowerEventThread(9)]: TvController.OnSuspend() 2011-11-10 17:10:55.913085 [PowerEventThread(9)]: Scheduler: stopped 2011-11-10 17:10:55.923828 [PowerEventThread(9)]: Scheduler: thread stopped. 2011-11-10 17:10:55.931640 [PowerEventThread(9)]: Stopcard 2011-11-10 17:10:55.938476 [PowerEventThread(9)]: dvb:StopGraph called 2011-11-10 17:10:55.945312 [PowerEventThread(9)]: tvcard:FreeAllSubChannels 2011-11-10 17:10:55.952148 [PowerEventThread(9)]: dvb:StopGraph filterstate already stopped, returning. 2011-11-10 17:10:55.961914 [PowerEventThread(9)]: Stopcard 2011-11-10 17:10:55.968750 [PowerEventThread(9)]: dvb:StopGraph called 2011-11-10 17:10:55.975585 [PowerEventThread(9)]: tvcard:FreeAllSubChannels 2011-11-10 17:10:55.982421 [PowerEventThread(9)]: dvb:StopGraph filterstate already stopped, returning. 2011-11-10 17:10:55.989257 [PowerEventThread(9)]: Stopcard 2011-11-10 17:10:55.995117 [PowerEventThread(9)]: dvb:StopGraph called 2011-11-10 17:10:56.000976 [PowerEventThread(9)]: tvcard:FreeAllSubChannels 2011-11-10 17:10:56.007812 [PowerEventThread(9)]: PowerScheduler: SUSPEND 2011-11-10 17:10:56.013671 [PowerEventThread(9)]: PowerScheduler: System is going to suspend 2011-11-10 17:10:56.020507 [PowerEventThread(9)]: Controller: epg stop 2011-11-10 17:10:56.894531 [(27)]: PowerScheduler: UnregisterRemote StandbyHandler 4 2011-11-10 17:10:56.900390 [(27)]: PowerScheduler: UnregisterRemote WakeupHandler 4 2011-11-10 18:22:32.516601 [PowerEventThread(9)]: TV service PowerEventThread 30 2011-11-10 18:22:38.350585 [(27)]: PowerScheduler: RegisterRemote tag: 5, uris: http://localhost:31458/321ba4c3_a9bf_4a39_83ce_5aae9acb5b7b/+zeo+j3dmtkrtaa685sk1il5_1.rem, http://localhost:31458/321ba4c3_a9bf_4a39_83ce_5aae9acb5b7b/+zeo+j3dmtkrtaa685sk1il5_1.rem 2011-11-10 18:22:38.358398 [PowerEventThread(9)]: OnPowerEvent: PowerStatus: ResumeAutomatic 2011-11-10 18:22:38.365234 [PowerEventThread(9)]: OnPowerEventHandler: PowerStatus: ResumeAutomatic 2011-11-10 18:22:38.372070 [PowerEventThread(9)]: TvController.OnResume() 2011-11-10 18:22:38.377929 [PowerEventThread(9)]: Controller: setup HeartBeat Monitor 2011-11-10 18:22:38.385742 [PowerEventThread(9)]: Scheduler: started
So - a programme is set at 17:10 via the EPG to record from 5:30pm -> 6:00pm. The machine is then put into S3 via the remote, but never wakes for the scheduled recording. The (later) 18:22 wake-up in the above case is actually WMC waking for a recording it has to do. PS++ clearly is doing something though. For example, if I set a programme to record just a few minutes in the future and attempt to go to S3 via the remote then it goes into away mode, as you'd expect. As above, the relevant options seem to be set and ticked (including "Wakeup system for various events") and WMC on the same machine wakes and sleeps for recordings as you'd expect. Any ideas? Can't think what else to try...
