To shorten the debate: I think that a user action (here: Power off) should be respected unless you have to prevent a damage that cannot be made good again. And this is only the case if you switch off during (and not before) an active recording. Then you will go to away mode instead of sleep mode when pressing on/off (provided your on/off button is mapped to sleep). Michael</blockquote>
