    Hello,
I'm usign mediaportal from some months; with RC3 I can go to standby with remote (or case button) flawlessy. With 1.0 and powerscheudler activated, pressing the power button doesn't send pc to sleep (S3)... if I made another try then th pc will shutdown.. In attach the log file (in wich i made two tries to go to standby).

    Thank you:D

did you try the force option? from the log it looks like epg is stopping the suspend - you might try changing some of epg settings.
