Powerscheduler: Does not sent to standby, when there is a recording scheduled (1 Viewer)

After all Powerscheduler works for me:

I tested with an "my Alarm". When staying in Home the system goes to standby and get woken up at alarm time.

BUT then I tested in scheduling a recording. I set up a manual recording.. 15 minutes in the future.

Then I went to Home and waited.. This time the system was not sent to standby after the idle time. I do not understand why?

The idle time is set to 2min and the wake up before recording 3min.
Therefore it should go to standby?!

:-(

I think the problem is that your idle time is too low. You have it set so that the system will wake three minutes before a recording then go to sleep after two minutes, one minute befoer the recording should start.
I think I remember it was mentioned that MP detects this and simply doesn't wake up.

Try extending the idle amount to something like ten minutes then see what happens.

If still no luck, tell us what other power scheduler settings you are using and post your Mediaportal.log file with extended logging turned on in the powerscheduler options.

I did not mean it is not waking up. I meant it is not going into standby.. though the scheduled recording is 15 min in the future and the idle time was some minutes..

Anyway, I will increase the times and will get some logs.

    Another question:

I often observe problems, when going into standby while TV is turned on. I intentionally sent the system to standby, that is ok so far..

BUT when I wake up, MP often does freeze or the screen stays black.. I even cannot close MP with ALT+F4.

I think it happens more often when going into stanby from myTV or myVideo. From Home it most of the time works.

You could tell me to always switch to Home and than into standby, but this is only a workaround: The HTPC is for my parents and when I tell them to first go back to Home and then set the system to standby, that starts getting too complicated..

AFAIK powerscheduler is disabled if manually put into standby, so only works from homescreen with nothing playing.
