Has anyone had trouble starting MyTV using the PowerScheduler plugin?

I set up a scheduled recording and put my PC into hibernation. The PC starts up at the right time and starts MP but does not turn on the TV so the recording never happens. I've tried enabling TV automatically in config but it makes no difference. It records a scheduled recording if MP is first started manually no problem.

Is this feature only available if MP is used with TvEngine? Can't find any answers to this particular issue on the forums. Apologies if I'm wrong. Any help appreciated.

    Hi,
It should work fine if you leave MP in home & let powerscheduler put it to sleep.
When asking for help about powerscheduler you should also attach your mediaportal.log to your post..

Thanks for quick reply and the suggestion.

Tried letting PowerScheduler put my PC to sleep and this worked. However, when it woke up to do a recording I get the same problem, TV does not start. I have attached the log file as you suggested. Maybe my TV card has an issue?

Thanks to both Roy and Mr Hipp - I finally got it working by ticking the box in PowerScheduler config to force tuner re-initialisation (0.2.3RC2) but I will also try the latest SVN.
