I've set Powerscheduler to resume 1 minute before a recording starts and to hibernate after 5 minutes of inactivity.

    1. go to TV-Guide and schedule a show
    2. hibernate MP
    3. MP will resume to record the show
    4. After 5 minutes Powerscheduler hibernates MP
    5. resume MP start the recording and you will see only about 5 minutes have been recorded.
    6. go to TV-Modul, error comes up: Live-Fernsehen konnte nicht gestartet werden: Unable to create graph

I figured out while MP is recording the show the rec-icon isn't shown.
No indication that MP is recording and that's why powerscheduler hibernates MP after 5 minutes.
And after that i cannot even watch TV, just get this error-message.
I need to restart MP. After that MP automatically starts to record the show that's still scheduled. And now I also can see the rec-icon in the upper corner.

    I've attached the log file.

is MyTV running (viewing a channel) when the PC enters hibernate?

    this doesnt look good

and that could be the reason for this

MediaPortal doesnt even start to record because it can not find the TV-Card. thats why the PowerShceduler is hibernating the PC.

    Please try the following:
    1. Open your MediaPortal folder and rename the capturecards.xml to capturecardsOLD.xml
    2. start MediaPortal Setup and add your TV-Card
    3. have a look at the channelsettings and re-assign them to your TV-Card if needed
    4. test the hibernate procerdure again
    :D

    Still the same.
MP is recording the show, but without showing the rec-icon and only until powerscheduler hibernates MP (5 Minutes).

I closed TV before hibernating MP.

    mmh,mmh,mmh:confused:

so you can watch the file MediaPortal has recorded?
can you attach the logfile please, i am curious whats going wrong this time.:)

Would be nice if you could do a test with a clean install:
    1. rename the MediaPortal folder (to i.e. MediaPortalOLD)
    2. uninstall MediaPortal
    3. restart the PC
    4. install MediaPortal
    5. apply latest svn snapshot
    6. use start.bat
    7. restart the PC
    8. run setup (you can skip the Wizard if you want)
    9. runsetup and configure MediaPortal
    :D for testing

I guess it will be the same like the first one.

MP is recording, but it seems Powerscheduler doesn't take notice of that and hibernates, though MP is still recording.

But I can post another log-file, of course.

    I hoped this wouldn't be neccessary anymore.:jawdrop:
Made so many new installations in the last past days. uff...
But I think it has to be done...

    Hi infinityloop,

    no need to deinstall. puh...
I'm using the latest SVN and it seems to be fixed now.
Worked fine for the latest 5 recordings.:D
