Hi all, with latest svn powerscheduler plugin hibernate system ever:

If i set Shutdown mode in Suspend, Hibernate or Stayon when i press poweroff button of my remote (windows mce remote) the htpc go in hibernate state indifferently.

From log i see that in all case QuerySuspend event ("OnPowerEvent: PowerStatus: QuerySuspend") is catched.

Have you got hibernate enabled within windows itself, as this usually overrides MP settings.

The only thing i have set in windows power settings is turn off monitor after 2 hours (work on principal if not used remote for 2 hours then not there or asleep) otherwise it is setup to never turn pc off.

This then puts the power settings totally at MP's Powerschedulers control.

Hi Paranoid Delusion, yes i have hibernate enabled...
If i disable it htpc go into standby but MP's Powerschedulers don't have control too: if i set MP to "stay on" when i press poweroff button of remote htpc go in standby intested of stay on.

For me no problem, i want standby but i think ther'is a bug.

See attached; Although this is for VISTA similar settings would be advisable for XP

By doing this you stop the OS from taking automatic global control of the standby/hibernation (this doesn't stop you from using manual selection of these) and allows the TVSERVICE to manage this.

You also need to ensure the PS plugins in both server and client are set for standby or hibernation as if you use 'stay on' you will stop these.

I Have tested this with the latest SVN release in VISTA 32 and XPsp3 and both HOME screens allow hibernation and standby S4/S3.

Have you set up the MP client PS plugin to allow standby in the home screen ?

    Hi,
Works fine here too, please attach all logs from a failure suspend in MP home(both server & MP logs).

    Regards
