Error:
Powerscheduler Setup:
a) Time in minutes to resume before recording starts: 1 minute
b) Idle Time in minutes before system shuts down: 1 minute

MP Setup:
c) Start recording before program starts: 1 minute

So effectively: MP should wake up 2 minutes before a recording is due.

No here comes the funny part: Powerscheduler shuts down MP just before the recording should start.....

It seems as if PowerScheduler does not account for the time set in item c).

I'm aware of the fact that these settings are somewhat "on the edge" and there is an easy workaround for this:
set item a) equal to or greater than b) + c).

But then again, we all want the best, don't we?
Start
In MP setup (recording options)

We're asking, cause we wold like to find out if it's a bug or just a failure on your system.

There is no need for a work-around, that's why we ask.
We would like to fix this, if we can confirme this as a bug.

    The most curious thing is:
Powerscheduler shuts down MP just before the recording should start.....

Will MediaPortal be shut down, or your PC?

    Regards
    Ralph

I should have been more specific, Ralph. Powerscheduler shuts down the PC. Its reasoning looks like "Hey, there's no need to be active, the next recording starts in 2 minutes. Time to hibernate". But, then it forgets to wake up....

    I have changed PowerScheduler.

Adding auto correct to ensure Resume time (before recording) must be greater then Idle time.

Bavarian, Did you also account for c) in my first post?

    it works then.

    +++edit+++
    my fault

resume time must be smaller than idle time.
