From personal experience I can tell that W7 is one hell of a lot better than winxp in every regard (stability, networkspeed/filetransfer, videoimagequality)&nbsp;If you have a installation DVD and a serial, you can install it on any PC.As far as I remember it's mainly those PC/notebooks without an install dvd that are &quot;hoocked&quot; to the hardware. At least in WinXP days this was the case. Can't say for sure for W7.</blockquote>
