Description:
I have configured among the five possible wheather images two or three animated gif files (e.g. from ZDF Wetter). These take some seconds to download, especially if e.g. a downloadmanager (somewhere in the family network) is downloading huge files and eating most DSL bandwidth. Sometimes I wait 20 seconds for each image.
Proposal would be simply to prefetch these five images in the background as soon as the wheather screen is loaded.
As in the current implementation the images are already cached, this should be a minor impact.
