I have a simple question (I thought :()
I want to use the number keys on my remote to select preset channels (for Tv and radio, while in TV or Radio screen).
f.i. push radio key and then numberkey 3 should start my defind preset 3 (f.i. 3FM)
Just like we where used to with a normal TV and radio set. With this kind of (simple) equipment it is always possible to map the number keys of your remote to self assigned (personal presets) channels.
I looked everywhere but couldn't find an answer in the forum. (may be used the wrong search strings:oops:, but tried several)

Please can anyone give me the solution, otherwise my wive want's the old (simple) equipment back, but also for choosing radio station without having to start the tv-monitor I want to have this.

Thanks in advance for helping

Using my iMon remote I can just press the numeric keys to change to the channel I want. In other words, what you want IS possible. Check your TV-Server Configuration and look at the channel numbers they are assigned there. Go to TV Channels - > All Channels to view the assigned Channel numbers. Then these should work in live TV.

    :D Pilehave,
For your answer, but it helps only a little. With my remote and the TV in fullscreen i have the same effect as you describe:
(number key(s) will give me corresponding channel number),
but with radio this does not work! and this is my biggest problem because then you don't want/need the TV set on.

If (with monitorscreen on, =TV set)) i press f.i. the number 2 key, i see on my screen {a} and the focus goes to the radio station starting with the letter a. Maybe in a "fullscreen" radio situation this would have the same action as with TV, but I don't know of such a screen.

But your answer gave me the hope that it must be possible with radio to, maybe with the remote mapping in radio screen
(i tried that, but defing action key 2, again gave me the {a} in stead of the second radio channel preset i want)
May be it is in the skin radio screen definitions or the (standard) radio plugin, but thats to complex for me at this moment.

So still can someone help me with my "simple", direct radio channel command via number keys on my remote !!!
