UPDATE:
Just wanted to insert this more up-to-date link, in case someone else find this links at the top of their search results:

That did the trick for me. The German link above is no longer relevant - broken images, tool link broken - and the above link is easier to follow, anyway

(the real trick would be for MP to detect such corruption itself, or if there are no negative consequences, run the repair command on a schedule, just in case. May be a MP2 thing. I'm just seeing if MP is going to be my replacement for WMC.)
