I have a weird problem.
When I am in the tvserver config and preview certain tv channels, like 13th street or the SciFi channel, it gives me perfect AC3/spdif sound. I see that it uses ffdshow audio decoder in the lower right corner, even though I have set the config up to use AC3filter. That's strange, but not the main problem I'm facing:

When I watch these channels in MP, the AC3/spdif sound is gone and has become normal stereo sound, not digital through spdif! :(
And no matter what codec I select in MP, it never gives me AC3 sound...
Why is the preview screen in the config different than MP? I thought the preview screen was ment to preview what can be seen on that channel in MP, but now it seems it has no usefull function at all...because it will show or let you hear something else than in MP....

It's just for testing if you receive a certain channel.
    Nothing more.
The reason why it uses different DS filters than MP is that it doesn't build the graph itself but rather "throws" TsReader in a new graph let's DirectShow decide, which filters should be used.
The priority which filter to choose in case more filters have the same abilities is reflected in the merit.
    So it's not a bug

    I see.
But that means that when MP builds the graph itself, whatever codec is selected in the config, it breaks the AC3 sound...
When the tvserver config throws Tsreader in a new graph and DirectShow decides what filters are used AC3 sound is perfect....
Doesn't that mean there goes something wrong with MP?
