principal question to SVN´s (1 Viewer)

Dear community,

I am using MP now for a while and it works 99% perfectly.
From time to time I update my configuration by a new SVN version AND a new installation of TV-Server.
I wonder if it is really necessary to uninstall TV-Server and install the latest TV-Server build or if the actual MP - SVN also covers the changes of TV-Server??

You will have to update both MediaPortal and TVServer at the same time, i.e. using SVN snapshots from the same time. While for MediaPortal the SVN snapshots only contain the changes compared to the release version, the TVServer SVN snapshots are always full installs. So yes you'll have to uninstall and reinstall the latest version of the TVServer at all times.
